Aquidneck Explorers Academy Home Preschool and Daycare (AEA) is an in-home preschool and daycare located in a quiet neighborhood on Aquidneck Island at 82 Stage Coach Road in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Our charming, child-friendly space is equipped with a wealth of opportunities for exploring, learning and play. As a Certified Wildlife Habitat® through the National Wildlife Federation, our chemical-free outdoor space features a large, fenced yard for plenty of nature and wildlife exploration, and outdoor playtime. Our mission is to provide quality preschool learning and childcare with nature inspired, child-led activities for children ages 1-6 in a welcoming, home-like environment. Our informed, safe, competent care and instruction will provide your children with a safe, loving space to learn and grow through exploring their environment and relationships with those around them. We believe the first five years of a child’s development are most significant in their brain development and creating a foundation of curiosity and a love of learning. We seek to inspire and facilitate opportunities to instill confidence and autonomy in each child which inspires curiosity and creativity in even the littlest of humans. PROVIDED DAILY:
-Small teacher to child ratio
-Comfortable, home environment
-Extended outdoor exploration time
-Separate areas/centers for varying exploration opportunities in multiple subjects such as life skills, math, science, art, sensory play, reading/literature, dramatic play, and building.
-Dedicated and nurturing educator and caregiver
-Weekly enrichment in movement, music, baking, and more

Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM
PRICING
Full-time tuition for care is $300 per week (breakfast and snacks are provided...adults-at-home provide daily lunch for their child)
*Part-time care discussed on a case-by-case basis
