💙🤘🏾 Barbershop Talk & BBQ | Beta Sigma Chapter

Beta Sigma did more than just BBQ—we had the opportunity to connect, give back, and pour into the Norfolk community.

After spending time outside with the community, we headed into the barbershop. As many of us know, the barbershop has always been more than just a place to get a fresh cut. It can be a safe haven—a place to decompress, have meaningful conversations, share experiences, and leave feeling a little better than when you walked in.

Alongside other panelists, members of Beta Sigma shared insight on a variety of topics affecting our communities. We understand that we are not just members of an organization—we are stakeholders in what happens in our own backyards.

We were also proud to give back by distributing hygiene kits and snack bags to members of the community. The love and support we received reminded us why service and genuine community engagement matter.

Beta Sigma is committed to being present, active, and intentional in the communities we serve. 💙🤍

Today, we PURPLE UP in support of Su***de Prevention Awareness. 💜

The Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. proudly stands with Portsmouth Public Schools in reminding our students, families, educators, and community that you matter, you are valued, and you are not alone.

Mental health matters. Conversations matter. Support matters. Sometimes simply reaching out, checking in, or showing someone that you care can make a lasting difference.

Different faces. Same purpose. Stronger together. 💜
