Yes i made this video myself..
A lot of times, parents don’t understand why childcare providers have a drop-off cut-off time. The first thought is, “Well, I’m paying for childcare, so why does it matter what time I bring my child?”🤔
But a cut-off time isn’t about stopping you from using the childcare you pay for. It’s about structure.❤️
Once our day gets started, we’re STARTED! 😂 We have breakfast, learning activities, circle time, outside play, crafts, lunch, naps, and so much more planned throughout the day.
When a child comes in 2 mins, 30 minutes, an hour, or even TWO hours after everyone else, we have to stop what we’re doing, get them settled, help them transition into the routine, and sometimes go back over something the other children have already completed.
And imagine if EVERY parent said, “Well, I pay, so I’ll bring my child whenever.”😩 Chileeeee, we wouldn’t have a schedule at all! 😂
Your tuition pays for your child’s spot and care. It doesn’t mean policies and schedules no longer apply.
Childcare providers have cut-off times because routine and consistency matter for ALL of the children in our care.🥰📚
So when your provider says, “Drop-off cut-off is 9:00 AM,”please understand there is a reason behind it. We’re not trying to be difficult we’re trying to run a structured childcare program where your babies can learn, play, grow, and thrive.❤️ please respect your childcare cut off policy🥰
