Delight Thrift Shop to benefit a local Women’s Shelter.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the toys for Sierra’s Haven this semester! We delivered them today and the animals were super happy! 🐶 🐱 ❤️

Looking for volunteers to work the canteen at this week’s Blood Drive! We have available volunteering hours available on both Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. If you are interested in volunteering please stop by the Bear Necessities Food Pantry to sign up! Or respond to [email protected] with your available volunteer times and your SSU Student ID #.

This Friday, November 10th, Compass Health will be passing out food bags to 150 veterans in Scioto county. They need volunteers that can drive, as well as volunteers who can ride along and help hand out bags.
This is a humbling service opportunity helping to give back and express gratitude to our local veterans.
Consider getting a group together if you are lacking a vehicle, or reaching out to your roommates/friends to encourage them to get involved as well.
If you are interested in helping, please meet at the American Legion Post 23 located at 705 Court St at 8:45am.
Consider using your day off to give back and make a difference!

Next week Theta Phi Alpha is hosting events to raise awareness for the homeless. We will be collecting items all week in the UC from 11-3 for the local shelter and we will be having events all week so come out and show your support for a great cause!💙💛

We are still in need of volunteers for our upcoming blood drive. These students will be manning the snack table, and helping the blood drive workers in anyways needed. We need volunteers for Thursday November 2nd, from 9:30-4:00. Please feel free to sign up for smaller shifts that work for your schedule.
