I just got off a conversation with Tonya Ward Singer, a Moffatt-Ladd descendant, and Laurel Yancey a 7th generation descendant of Prince and Dinah Whipple. Tonya recently donated a matching gift of $1,000 towards our Day in honor of Prince & Dinah Whipple, whose house is a site on the BHTNH trail. This is some of the work we do to create space where descendants of the enslavers and the enslaved can meet and reconcile this history.
