Today we had so much fun! We did a fun experiment that started with us making a prediction. We used food coloring to dye carnations. Now we have to wait to see if it’ll change from white to the color chosen. Then we created our own flower using the parts of a flower that we learned about yesterday.

Today we discussed the different parts of a flower! The petal, leaf, and stem. Afterwards we did a sorting activity where we separated each part of the flower into each category. Later we had fun flower painting and they were so vibrant!

Spring time brings Flowers! This weeks theme is the Life of a Flower! We went over different types of flowers, what you need to help a flower survive, and even planted our own. We can’t wait to water them everyday and watch them grow.
