This is what happens when I can't make up my mind on personal Holiday cards and it's 'stamping day' (yesterday was cutting day, tomorrow will be punching and die cutting day). So many ink colors, and of course Sarah Kitty wants to help because there can only be one reason to clear my desk, right. Yes mum, she says, thanks for clearing space so I don't have to lie on your cutter like last night, or walk on your ink pads (a favorite activity) or (absolute fave) flick my tail back and forth while you're gluing things together and leaving bits of my fur as souvenirs

Lots of stuff going on with Stampin' Up! this fall, and it's a perfect time to get ready for the holidays. After all, who doesn't love gifting and getting hand-made gifts, created with love. Let me show you how. A Stampin' Up! gathering is also a great way to gather with your friends this season, while having fun at the same time.

Great news - The Holiday catalog starts in September. There's a wonderful selection of new products to take you right through the holiday season, all the way from Halloween, thru Thanksgiving, to Christmas and more. There are also new seasonal stamps online with Halloween and Christmas themes.

Fall is here in the form of the September Fall for Toile Paper Pumpkin Kit. These elegant cards truly capture the beauty of this special time of year, with rich colors, traditional autumnal imagery, and luxe foil accents. Each kit comes with three different printed card base styles, three coordinating envelope designs, precut paper pieces, and grosgrain ribbon—as well as a stamp set perfectly suited for seasonal messages from the heart.

Sad news.... Stampin' Up! red rubber cling stamps are leaving the product line up. Some of the ingredients to make the rubber are getting increasingly hard to get hold of, and while it's sad, the photopolymer stamps are staying around. No new cling stamps will be made after November, and as current inventory runs out of other designs, they will be retired. The current 2025-26 main catalog, and the incoming Holiday catalog will be the last print materials to feature cling stamps.

Good news - As the photopolymer stamps are much thinner than the cling stamps, stamp sets will be moving into thin pockets just like the ones our dies are currently in. This means it will be easier for dies and matching stamp sets to store together, and they will take up way less space. The new packaging will be larger and will feature full size images of both stamps and dies.

Other sad news.. due to the popularity of the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers, the Stampin' Write markers are retiring. Current product inventory has been moved to the Last Chance list (although they are not discounted right now), and once they are gone, no more will be produced. If this is a product you have been wanting to try, or you need to finish up your collection, now is the time.

So I've been taking a bit of a Social Media break. Some of you probably thought I was dead lol!! Seriously, sometimes life can be so overwhelming, and between trying to catch up on some health issues, and hubby having medical appointments 3 days a week while I'm still helping our elderly neighbor 2 days a week, a lot of the time I'm running on 5-6 hours of sleep, and not enough food/drink. It's exhausting.

As this seems to be the new normal though, and I don't see an end on the horizon yet (in fact it's going to get worse as I need to start physical therapy soon, and I'm trying to get a surgery that I've needed for a few months before my back pain gets any worse), I realize I need to challenge myself to get some posts on here regardless of other life stuff.

I have actually been very crafty and counted yesterday that since the start of the year I have made 289 cards, 205 3D projects, and 388 little giveaways!! Most had pictures taken so I will try to start posting them. In the meantime Stampin' Up! have some great deals coming up with the first being to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day this Saturday.

Getting ready for my first multi-day event with Stampin' Up! after 23 years with the company.

I've never had this chance before - there's always been kids who needed me, or an unreliable car, or not enough money, or mobility issues. Plus I've never had anyone to go with.

Now I have a great local team and team leader who have welcomed me with open arms, and an event nearby.

There are 21 of us heading to Raleigh NC from March 13th-15th for a company-wide event. We will get to hang out with other demonstrators and company employees from around the world. We get to see and play with new products and get a copy of the new catalog that comes out in May. We get to take classes, hang out with friends old and new, and swap handmade cards and 3D items. And we get to eat at great restaurants each night. Generally it's going to be a fab five days hanging out with the girls while spending time doing what we love.
