✨ Confidence Starts With Play! ✨ Did you know one of the best ways to build an infant’s confidence is to simply let them play, explore, and try things on their own? 💛

When babies are given the freedom to explore their environment, they’re learning much more than how to stack a block or reach for a toy. They’re building problem-solving skills, developing curiosity, practicing independence, and discovering that “I can do this!” 🙌

🌱 How can you help?
• Give them a safe space to explore
• Let them try before stepping in to help
• Offer simple, open-ended toys
• Celebrate their attempts, not just the outcome
• Follow their interests and let them lead the play

And remember: play doesn’t have to be complicated! A cardboard box, a soft ball, or a few safe household objects can provide endless opportunities for discovery. Every little exploration is a chance to build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. 💕

Let them play. Let them explore. Let them discover just how capable they are! 🌟

PEAK has been BUSY this summer! ☀️ Our campers and staff have been making memories, exploring new places, learning, laughing, and, most importantly....HAVING FUN! 💙

From cooling off and splashing around at New Castle Commons 💦 to hitting the trails at Urban Forestry and seeing what they can discover 🌲🔎, there’s always an adventure waiting for our PEAK crew!

One minute you’re just playing… and the next, you’re completely mesmerized by these magical little floating spheres! 😂🫧

Big bubbles, little bubbles, bubbles that pop way too soon, they’re basically childhood magic. 💙

We’ll never get tired of watching the wonder, excitement, and pure joy that bubbles bring! 🫧💫

🥕🍎 Growing Healthy Minds & Healthy Bodies! 🍎🥕

We are incredibly grateful to the Mary Louise Billings Trust, Citizens Bank Trustee, for their generous grant funding that allowed us to provide nutrition education materials and resources to our Early Childhood students and families! 💚

Nutrition education helps children build healthy habits, understand the importance of nourishing their growing bodies, and make positive choices that support both learning and development. 🧠💪

Our Sea Turtles recently channeled their inner influencers and got creative with a behind-the-scenes look at their classroom! 🎬✨

From filming to storytelling, they showed off their creativity, confidence, and BIG personalities, and we are here for it! 💚

We love watching our little learners find their voices, express themselves, and let their personalities shine bright. 🌟

🦁🐯🐻 Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! 🐻🐯🦁

Our Summer PEAK crew had a WILD time at the Stone Zoo last week! From big cats to furry friends and everything in between, our campers got to explore, discover, and get up close with some amazing animals. 🐾🌿

It was a ROAR-some day filled with adventure, smiles, and plenty of memories! 💚☀️

Transitions are in full swing at Seacoast Community School! 🍎✨

As children move into new classrooms, meet new teachers, and settle into new routines, it's completely normal for them to experience a mix of excitement, curiosity, and even a few big emotions. Change can be hard, but with a little extra support at home, these transitions can become opportunities for growth and confidence.

Here are a few ways you can help make the transition a little smoother:
🍎 Talk positively about the new classroom and teacher.
💛 Keep routines as consistent as possible at home.
📚 Read books about starting something new.
🗣️ Encourage your child to share their feelings and ask questions.
⏰ Allow a little extra time during drop-off and pick-up to keep things calm but focus on the same routine with drop off.
🎉 Celebrate the small wins as they adjust!

Remember, every child transitions at their own pace, and we're here to support them, and you, every step of the way. Together, we'll help make this a successful start to a wonderful year! ❤️
