Easter 2022
My neighbor was nice enough to let us use his yard to hide egg so I tricked the kids and told them I only hid 10 eggs in our yard and that was it ๐ that did not go over well. Luckily they were good sports and the weather was beautiful. No egg left behind ๐

Tried our luck at putting our names and mosaic colored pieces in prismatic order as part of our St. Patrick's day festivities. Couldn't forget our lucky green clovers to round out the fun. โ๏ธ

I apologize our page has been like a ghost town with the lack of updates ๐ป๐ป๐ป
Our Halloween craft was interesting this year as we have such a varying group of friends. Our youngest had the most fun using the scissors while the oldest was best at helping weave so we could cinch our pumpkins closed. Everyone could probably agree picking and filling their pumpkins with candy was their favorite.
Overall it was a successful craft day but if anyone was curious, felt isn't a great medium to color with markers because you end up with more ink on yourself than the pumpkin.
We hope everyone has a safe and exciting time trick or treating this weekend ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ง๐ฆธ

photo dump! Our bathroom renovation has kept us busy with the littles every weekend but we took the time to honor our great Nation as well as our Dads a few weeks back.

We celebrated Earth Day by journaling the progress of the seeds we planted and talked about what they needed to grow. Soon we will be transplanting our green pepper plants to the garden. ๐ฅณ๐ฑ๐

Late post, we've been busy enjoying the beautiful weather! ๐ท๐
We celebrated Easter with an indoor egg hunt and waited until nicer weather for the outdoor hunt. The kids had a blast and were very competitive this year! They practiced counting their bounty, around 30 eggs each! The littles couldn't care less about hunting but loved when they found an egg with a few tasty treats inside.
Our craft was a hand traced bunny, the bigs arranged the funny faces and enjoyed practicing gluing/cutting.

Late Post!
Counting gold, practicing cutting the green noodles, squished and squashed; our St. Patrick's Day sensory bin was a smashing success.
Although we improvised our normal plastic bin (MIA๐) with an old roasting pan and our book "The Story of a Leprechaun" as well as a brief history of Saint Patrick was resourced on Youtube we found the luck of the Irish was on our side.โ

Late post!
Valentines day was celebrated a week late this year but the kids didn't seem to mind. We painted wooden trinket crown boxes and we took turns telling each babe what we like most about them. From big thinkers to beautiful song makers, we have no shortage of nice things to say about each other! ๐ฅฐ

A welcomed disruption from our daily circle time routine. The roads were clear so we remained open for business; the kids were bundled up and had a blast!โโ๏ธ

Last weeks simple yet fun Martin Luther King Jr craft. As a huge proponent of teaching our infants basic sign language as means to ease frustration with communication; we also try to keep the educational momentum of developing their language art skills as they grow into "little bigs".
Our artists noted the various shapes within the "peace" symbol and demonstrated great palmer grip while coloring. Perhaps soon we should graduate to learn to sign their names?!
May peace be with everyone in the New Year! โ๐ฝโฎ

๐ถโ"Let it snow, let it snow"๐ถโ
We attempted to make snow, however the final product resulted in just making a big goopy mess. Our biggest issue was human error, bought shave gel instead of shave cream. ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Regardless, our bigs thoroughly enjoyed the sensory experience as well as watching the two components transform.
We also took the opportunity to reiterate some three-dimensional shapes we had been learning such as the rectangular prism shaped cornstarch box.
Overall, we'd say this project was a winner and we look forward to repeating with the correct ingredients.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with laughter, and delicious food! ๐ฆ
Our bigs enjoyed the messy process of creating beautiful feathered turkeys as a reminder of this season of giving thanks.
Working on our numbers, patience, and hand control, we fed turkeys poms using tongs. Our littles worked on their pincer grasp on the same project, they love to watch and learn from the bigs!
For fun, we played in a fall sensory bin filled with oatmeal, and shiny seasonal objects.
Throughout the weeks we've been reading themed books about the first Pilgrams' voyage, and the Natives that helped them learn to cultivate the land. We also read about family traditions, and being thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving!

We've had a hauntingly busy month celebrating this spooky season!
Welcoming new friends to join in our fun, we updated the orange/black themed sensory bin by filling it with lots of goodies to count and sort. For our little tykes we focused on the color/textures of the bin and encouraged them to explore the squishy pumpkin pulp, and bubbly green sensory bags.
Challenging our seasoned babes we had them feed monsters objects to match corresponding letters.
Dusting off our ghost white paint, the bigs in our group blew ghosts after a raised salt pinterest fail craft. We tickled the toes of our smaller crew members for Halloween keepsakes.
We are so excited for fresh faces and all the fun the holiday season will bring.. sshhhhh don't tell them they are learning๐คซ๐คญ
We hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!

Learning while we play, whiteboard style.
Our littles practiced finding animals, verbalizing their sounds, and taking the magnets off to put them in their prospective homes.
The eldest of our group practiced tracing while erasing their last name.

In remembrance of the Americans lost in 2001 and 2012, we will never forget. Thank you LEO's for answering the call.

The rain brought us a subtraction/addition cloud craft. Our oldest glued the rain clouds, dotted the correct number of raindrops, and read equations.
The youngest of our group worked on mimicking the sounds, and the actions of things that go.
Collectively we learn, and grow!

Early Independence Day celebrating this great nation. We made USA flags, practiced the pledge of allegiance, and learned our country and state names.
*provider fail* forgot to get finished product pictures but it was fun craft nonetheless.

Recent day care happenings:
๐จFor Father's day the kids made "shrinky dinks" personalized with their handprints as well as works of their art. We used the heating process to talk about size comparison when the plastic shrunk.
๐๐ถOur daily book reading selection of "Swim, Little Wombat, Swim" provided the opportunity to talk about water safety. Later we continued our discussion with a floating exercise using a makeshift boat.
๐งฎ๐บ๐ธBetween free play, we practiced counting when playing "Hi-Ho Cherry-O". We also learned our home state and country while putting together a puzzle.
๐ฑ Last but not least, it's blueberry season and the kids enjoyed picking refreshing treats while playing outside!
06/02/2020
The eldest of our group took our daily book reading outside today with one of our favorite selections influenced by recent events.
"Carrot & Pea" is an excellent read about a great friendship in which the characters embrace their differences and have the best of times!
We still have open availability, message us if you're interested!

In response to measures taken worldwide we have enacted several precautions to help eliminate sickness.
We are very fortunate we've had our group since an early age, we've had more time to explain containment! As we watch our littles use their direction, we can't help but feel proud as they sneeze/cough in their elbow as well as their ability to wash their hands thoroughly.
Stay well and message us if you require child care. With quality daycare there's no need to sacrifice your peace of mind for your children while you work.

We believe it's never too early to introduce fundamental skills to our littles in hopes of igniting a passion for learning! Because not all children process alike, we put great effort in teaching early education through multidisciplinary methods. From signing to singing, silly dances to table manners; we hope to set a great foundation for each child's success.
Currently, we're interviewing to fill limited openings and will be contacting our waiting list. If you, or someone you know, is interested in joining our fun please message us for more information about our program.
We'd love if you like, share and follow!

Celebrating the glue that holds most families frames together, mommy's!
Our group took their time to pick each perfect flower to make a pictorial, floral arrangement for their special mommas. We talked about the characteristics of the petals, and stems as we perused the flower beds.
They also put on their smocks to paint hand print keepsakes to remind their mommy's they are always the best (really need to invest in a cricut ๐๐๐).
We hope all you Mother's have a beautifully restful (even for just 5 minutes ) day!

โHappy St. Patrick's Day! โ
Here's a glimpse of our latest shenanigans. The kids so knowledgeably told me the order of the Rainbow as I loosely guided them to create their latest masterpiece to celebrate this day.

"I Want to be Somebody New" by Robert Lopshire created under Dr. Seuss's Beginner Book imprint in 1986 will complete our Dr. Seuss week.
Expertly drawn (๐) character images were colored and adorned with foil stickers by the kiddos. We followed up our rainy day craft with the reading of the book where we learned "it does feel best to be just me!"

โผ๐จ๐๏ธCraft Supply Restock Required๐จ๐๏ธโผ
The beautiful weather we have been experiencing kept us from celebrating Dr. Suess on his birthday last Monday. We did manage to close out his birthday week with a provider guided craft. I always love how these turn out and the kids enjoy the process of creating! They did a fantastic job gluing and finding the colored shapes to create a remarkable red and white patterned hat. The kids are very proud of their work, and we are so very thankful to celebrate a man whose books encourage young readers to think outside the box.
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! โคโคโคโค
