Second trip to Serbia this season, this time for a Euroleague match up against Red Star.

Incredible atmosphere…fans brought the energy and the game matched.

Kai Jones with the most ridiculous oop I’ve seen, hitting his shoulder on the backboard.🤯

First session with back in February.

A nagging foot issue was keeping him off the court. Over the next two weeks we had a handful of sessions that helped get him back playing. Stay tuned to see the work

A lot of speed and agility work isn’t about going full speed all the time.

Sometimes it’s slowing things down enough to teach the body how to organize itself first.

The hips play a huge role in acceleration, deceleration, and changing direction. If we can improve how an athlete controls and transitions through these positions, we can build a more efficient mover when the intensity gets turned up.

Here are a few clips from different workouts throughout February

Really appreciate having me out for a full day at URI. Got to sit in for a pre practice workout, on court warm up, full practice and a cool down stretch.

Our discussion focused around his philosophy and how he’s learned from and his Quadrant System. For young coaches looking to learn , take 30 minutes and search Quad 4 Daniel Bove on YouTube. It gives you great insight into what training at the NBA level is actually like and how to manage players weight room exposures throughout the season.

Always great catching up with my guys šŸ¤

Appreciate you!

Always great going back to Salve

When I first moved back to Rhode Island to start Island Athletics, I started up as an unpaid intern at Salve in the weight room. Always grateful for the experience and lessons I learned there.

Was great coming back at this point in my career and share the knowledge I’ve learned along the way. This was filmed back in February towards the end of the season, prepping for the conference tournament. Thank you for having me out

Shoutout to the original Salve basketball guys who helped lay down the foundation and the recent dawgs who carried the name .0

State Champs! Congratulations fellas

Have had the privilege and opportunity to have coached some of these guys for years. It’s always great seeing the hard work pay off.
