Today, our Sciotoville Community School family mourns the loss of a truly remarkable man, Jeff Brant.
Jeff was more than a supporter of our school—he was a pillar of our community. He bled blue and dedicated countless hours, resources, and acts of kindness to our students and families. Whether he was helping students find jobs, providing career guidance, supporting school programs, or making sure families had Christmas festivities during the holidays, Jeff always found a way to give back.
His impact cannot be measured by any single act because it was woven into the lives of so many students, staff, and community members. He believed in our kids, invested in their futures, and never hesitated to step up when someone needed help.
The halls of East High School and the greater community will not be the same without him. His generosity, dedication, and unwavering love for this school will be felt for generations to come.
We extend our deepest condolences to Jeff’s family and loved ones. Thank you, Jeff, for everything you did for our students, our school, and our community. Your legacy will live on in the countless lives you touched.
Once a Tartan, always a Tartan. It was an honor to have your support. Rest in peace, Jeff.
