A place to share information, photo's and memories from The Deaf School on Spring Street, Portland,
These are Pictures taken mostly by Ruth or Austin Kane, Donat Gorneault or by their friends while attending the Deaf School. Most pictured I believe attended, worked or taught at the Deaf school on Spring Street. Posting of family photo's, I only ask they be from this Deaf school on Spring Street, so others may also find family members.
Operating as usual

Ruth Kane and her close friends Evelyn and florence
Ruth Mary Kane Gorneault and Debra Ann Flynn at the Center on Deafness trash to Fashion show. She is wearing a shirt made from newspaper, magazine on an old cloth(I found the cloth in basement to use). The pants are made from cloth napkins, burnt curtains, old worn bed sheet and the buttons were made from metal soda lids. *they had her great-grand-children's pictures in them* she was wearing a flower corsage made from a Dr. Pepper can and part of a bird food storage bag. Everyone worked hard on their outfits and Ruth and I had a great time attending this event!
