I’m constantly making short vids of free playing to watch back and learn from.

Usually, If I think something is kinda cool I might post a clip in my story — But I really ran with this improvisation for a minute and some neat shiny things popped up :) so I decided to post it all!

The bari axe is such a unique voice. Can’t wait to start writing some stuff with it in mind!

Vocals heavily inspired by and .frisell ‘s version from the When You Wish Upon a Star record. ❤️

I’m such a sucker for these old heartbreak ballads but damn listen to those lyrics. Something tells me I’ll be singing a few more of these leading up to Valentimes 😂

Been so long since I played this tune. Not a perfect rendition by any means, but I really enjoyed the process of practicing and thinking about how to treat this beautiful standard after so long. Just a snippet of that process.
