Most bike shops are unholy vortexes of mansplaining. Don't get me wrong: I love 'em. But lordy, there are plenty of my friends who hate them and I don't blame them. A lacrosse COACH I know was told she didn't understand the complexeties of the musculoskeletal system.

Wanna know a bike shop that's not like that? My local, Northampton Bikes. That's among the many reasons I like them.

Well, they're donating their little social space, complete with bar, for my gig tonight. I'm donating my music. All the money goes to All Out Adventures, a non-profit that gets our neighbors with mobility issues out on bikes or trikes or kayaks.

It's already gonna be packed, so if you don't like shoulder-to-shoulder, you could also come to one of the other two gigs, in Pomfret on Friday or in Keene on Sunday.

But if you come out tonight, be sure to pick up a sticker, and take your bike there for your next tune-up.
