Thank you Jessie for your service to our students and families, for your leadership in our local, and your dedication and advocacy for educators here in Hastings and statewide serving on the EM Governing Board. This evening at our annual spring social, we honored our retirees. These three amazing educators have served 101 years teaching students! Amazing careers. Congratulations on your well deserved retirement:

Our local was represented this year at the annual Education Minnesota Representative Convention on Friday and Saturday by Jessie Holm, Michelle Munger, Andrea Eichmann, and me. Thanks ladies for your commitment and giving up part of your weekend.
Grateful to be there to celebrate President Denise Specht and Secretary Treasurer Rodney Rowe for their years of leadership, advocacy, and service.

The school board voted 3-2 to eliminate policy 100 on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Thank you to all who showed up to fight for this policy.
We aren't done.....

So this isn’t gentle parenting and I wish more people/parents realized that. This is permissive parenting. Gentle parenting can be awesome when used correctly, but this ain’t it.
