We are a fan page dedicated to getting you information about the local schools here in Portland Michigan. This page is in no way endorsed or affiliated by the local school district and is done on a purely volunteer basis with the goal to share local news with the public. We would like to thank Charles Dumas and City Council member, Nikki Sunstrum for accepting this page as an "unofficial" page for the district. "Good afternoon parents,

Roads are getting slippery and our afternoon bus routes are going to be much slower. To help out, we will release the Middle School, High School, and PACE 15 minutes early today in order to give those bus routes extra time before our elementary routes. Our elementary schools will still release at their normal times. Once again Middle School and High School will release 15 minutes early today January 9th, 2024.

On Friday, your very own Raiders will face the Charlotte Orioles in their annual Military Appreciation Football game. This event is a must-see! Below you'll see a map of the activities which include:

- Veteran's food tent - FREE Maria's Tacos for all veterans and active service members. This includes free entry to the game.
- Branch Specific tents - includes info about Army, Navy, USMC, and Air Force
- Touch a Truck static displays - includes an Army ambulance, howitzer cannon, wrecker, and more.
- Warrior Fit station - for all you young and spry kids looking to show your stuff!
- Special PHS Band Performance that includes a song honoring all who serve and have served.

Come early to the game to check out the festivities. Proceeds from all fundraising efforts at the game go to the Portland VFW.
