Yesterday the American Red Cross celebrated their 133rd year of service to our nation. Thank you for all the hard work you do.

Clara Barton and a circle of her acquaintances founded the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. on May 21, 1881.

For 133 years, we've welcomed volunteers from all walks of life to follow in Clara's footsteps and provide relief to friends and neighbors affected by disaster.

If you've ever wondered how YOU can make a difference, call your local Red Cross office and sign up to become a volunteer.
