I began The Scribblist in 2013 after years of being nudged by family and friends to finally take the leap! I have an extensive background and education in fine art as a painter and sculptor, but truth be told, I have always held a soft spot in my heart for beautiful writing. I enjoy incorporating a touch of whimsy into my work, whether it is through modern brush lettering, a nod to the tradition o

f pointed pen, or custom chalkboard creations. There is so much meaning and love poured into each letter, each line, and it is my goal for this to come through in the creations I make.

I’ve been painting with watercolor long enough to know I’m still learning it. It’s the kind of medium that rewards patience and humbles you constantly, which is probably why I love it.

🍀 Happy St.Patrick’s Day! I have a craving for some soda bread and a Guinness — might have to remedy that!

The endless rain finally found us, but I’m not going to let it get me down because I know what comes next is the beauty of spring. 💐

How lucky are we to live in a world where there are flowers? These roses were inspired by two wonderful men in my life - an uncle, and my grandfather. They both bring me joy, especially on the dark days, and I hope they can for you too.
