🐻💛 Toddler 2 Fun! 💛🐻

Our Toddler 2 kiddos had so much fun today practicing “gentle hands” while exploring a sensory board filled with soft and different textures! 🖐️✨

Sensory play is a wonderful way for toddlers to learn about their bodies and practice important social-emotional skills like self-control, empathy, body awareness, and being gentle with others. 🌈

We love watching our little bears learn, explore, and grow through hands-on play! 🥰🐻✨

🐻❤️ All About Me Week at Little Bear’s Adventure Center! ❤️🐻

This week, our little bears had so much fun learning all about themselves and what makes each of them special! 🌈✨

Throughout the week, the children talked about:
👧🏽👦🏼 Their names and ages
❤️ Their families and the people they love
🎨 Their favorite colors and things they enjoy
🍎 Their favorite foods, toys, and activities
😊 Their feelings and emotions
🌟 What makes each of them unique and special

Our little bears had opportunities to share, draw, talk, listen to their friends, and learn that everyone is different—and that’s what makes us all so wonderful! 🥰

It was a beautiful week of building confidence, self-awareness, communication skills, and friendships while celebrating each child for exactly who they are. 🐻💕

We loved getting to know our little bears even better! 🌈❤️

Our New school year so far!

During this in-service for the 2027 year, we learned more about our roles and responsibilities as teachers and how our actions directly affect the safety, learning, and well-being of the children in our care.

We learned the importance of being present, staying engaged, communicating with our team, following procedures, and understanding what is expected of us each day. We also discussed what our role allows us to do and what it does not allow us to do, especially when it comes to supervision, safety, ratios, and professional responsibilities.

The biggest takeaway was that every staff member plays an important role in creating a safe, supportive, and successful environment for all children

What an amazing month it has been at Little Bear’s Adventure Center! 🐻❤️

We held our Annual Open House, and this year we decided to make it extra special by opening the fun up to ALL of our classrooms—not just preschool! 🥰

Each classroom had a fun, hands-on activity for the children to enjoy. The children were given their very own passport, and as they traveled from classroom to classroom, they collected a special stamp at each stop. Once they completed their passports, they earned a prize! 🎟️🎁

The best part was seeing all of our children participating and exploring together—from our littlest infants all the way up to our preschoolers! Watching them enjoy each classroom, try new activities, and celebrate together made this Open House one to remember. ❤️

We are so proud of our Little Bear’s family and grateful to all of our families and teachers who helped make the day such a success!

Get ready to GLOW at our Glow-Up Party Night! 🌟💡🎉

Family nights are so important because they give our children, families, and teachers the opportunity to connect outside of the classroom, build meaningful relationships, create special memories, and strengthen our Little Bears community. ❤️🐻

We love seeing our families come together, laugh, dance, and enjoy time with one another. These moments help our children feel a strong sense of belonging and show them just how special their Little Bears family truly is! 🥰

We can’t wait to glow, dance, and have fun together! ✨🕺💃

Outside time is vital for infants in childcare. It boosts gross motor skills, supports brain development, and improves sleep. Infants need exposure to natural light to regulate their circadian rhythms (sleep-wake cycles). Organizations like the National Association for the Education of Young Children recommend that babies spend time outside two to three times per day, as tolerated.

Art is crucial for infants. It builds brain connections and helps babies learn about their world. Infants use their senses to explore art. This process builds motor skills and teaches them how things work.
