Postpartum Psychosis is a serious perinatal mental health disorder and medical emergency that occurs in approximately 1 to 2 of every 1,000 perinatal individuals. Symptoms can appear suddenly, change quickly, and look different from person to person.
Greater understanding can lead to earlier recognition and appropriate treatment. With the right care, recovery is possible.
