Whew! ... Annnnnd, we're back! It has been an insane ~2 years of introspection, deconstruction, and rebuilding. I have so much to share with you all... But for now, we'll just say THANK YOU to Jesus for all he has done to redeem dreams that had fallen to the ground.

If you haven't gotten your journal out in a while, one of the BEST ways to dive back in is to simply open it and read past entries. So life giving. 💜

✨ Let me know what promises you've been reminded of in the comments. I'd love to hear them. ✨

Huh, what a year. If you're anything like me, 2020 has STILL managed to pour on difficult things to handle.

Quick 🔑 for success:

👟🥿👢👞👡👠

Consider the "shoes" you put on every day -- your foundational mindset, your motivation, your routine... What "shoes" are you wearing?

Do they fit well? Do they suit you? Do they bring a little flicker of joy, or a familiar drive to take the next step? Do they set you up for success, or are they ill-fitting?

Check your foundation. Make a small fix (or return to something that worked before), and it's amazing how quickly the one change can recharge your motivation.

For me, it's walks in the morning with gizmo 🐕‍🦺🧡.

What's a foundational habit that works for you?

🎙️// Real Talk: Anxiety // Swipe for Article >>

As Christians, anxiety and depression can feel so defeating - partially because we feel shame in admitting we struggle, despite the power of Jesus on our lives. Real talk? Jesus IS bigger, but our fight against flesh and blood IS real. And sometimes, anxiety is at the center of it.

🌻So nice to meet you! || Hey there, I'm Raina. I see a lot of new faces around and wanted to introduce myself!

I am a graphic designer, project manager, print production specialist, and an overall productivity superstar (humble, too 😉). I love a great cortado ☕, small animals 🦊, all kinds of weather 🌦️, and diving into crazy deep levels of personal growth and connection with Jesus 🧡🧡🧡.

I created because I saw a need in my own life, and so many others, to stay motivated and practice effective self-care that actually works.

Anxiety is something that's always been a part of my life -- something I've managed under the surface, threatening to jump out at me. At least, it USED to be.

I'll never forget the day I was sitting on my couch with my morning ☕, asking Jesus how to truly surrender my 🧡 and find victory in my emotional life ... I had an instant crazy thought (you know the kind, the ones that aren't actually YOUR thoughts because they're too smart and so right 😂)...

// Effective self-care starts with SELF AWARENESS. //

🤯🤯🤯

And it's absolutely crazy now, looking back, to see how that one conversation with Jesus has led us all here. I've learned the secret to Everyday Victory... and it's simple. Daily journaling prompts + intentional habit development, with Jesus at the center of it all, has redeemed the days!!

I'd be lying if I said I didn't have any anxiety... But the truth is, I recognize it in my body, behavior, and habits QUICKLY... And I've developed quick reset habits to kick anxiety and procrastination to the curb and jump right back into gratitude and connection to the source (Jesus!!!).

This community, , is here to celebrate with you on your journey to wholeness, help you connect with Jesus, and encourage you find peace -- right where you are, every day.

Because Everyday Victory is possible. We've got this, because HE'S got this... And He is so much more than enough.

👢 || the unending adventure into the unknown ll

I see a lot of talk on Instagram about "waiting". And don't get me wrong -- there are seasons that are confusing, abiding, slow, subtle, quiet and still. But if I've learned anything by pushing into these seasons, it's this:

They are ANYTHING but waiting.

In these seasons of subtle growth, the lessons we learn with God become our character as we endure!

"And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. 5 And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us." [ Romans 5:4 ]

My encouragement to you;

As you are waiting for God's promises, which will ALWAYS come through, press into the becoming He's calling you to. 🧡

For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption.[ 1 Corinthians 1:30 TPT ]

~

Today is a day, in the midst of a season of uncertainty and global isolation, that we are brought together in such unity. Through JESUS, we have not only been saved but made ONE --- one body together, and made one with God through His blood. This adoption is a powerful, overcoming truth...

~

You, friend, are not alone.

May you find the peace and abundant Life that springs forth from this free gift of wisdom, virtue, holiness, and redemption.

Thank you, Jesus, for making us whole again.

🍊 || fruitfulness is an overflow of abiding in HIM ||

We've all heard it said ... "Measure it by the fruit." 🍇🍉🍊🍒🍋

So often, this conversation turns into, "What fruit are you producing? How successful are you?"

.. But today, let's focus a bit differently:

Who's producing the fruit in the first place?!

Galatians has some answers for us:

"But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless." [ Galatians 5:22-23, ]

// TLDR: It's the Holy Spirit!!! //

Dare to believe this simple truth:

Fruit comes when you stay connected to the source. Naturally. Because it is His nature, pouring through your obedient reliance on Him!

(Need some more proof? Check out the entirety of John 15).

Take a moment to consider... How does this impact your relationship with what you produce? Does it change how you think about your work, your relationships, your dreams, your self-care?

🖊️ || tools of the trade || One of the most common questions we get is about what PENS we use!

So we're going to let you in on two of our favorites:

1 | midliners .... Literally, these highlighters change the game. Wondering how we get our beautiful, color-coded look on our weeks? This is how. 😍 ... The vibrant (yet not over-powering) colors are second to NONE... They do smear with some pens, so test first before you try to highlight after writing. 👌

2 | art pens (NOT THE FINE TIPS, ART PENS!! 🧡) .. These never smear or bleed through -- everrrrrr. They come in a lot of colors, and are a lot cheaper than other competitors... My favorite part?! They're a little thicker than Staedtler and other fineliners, so our handwriting is better. 🤣

How about you?! What are your favorite planner pens?

Our Story - Why We Created Abide·Daily

When I finally quit my high-stress job and made space for myself, I realized that my stress, anxiety, and fatigue wasn't a result of my circumstances. I needed a better way.

I started journaling again as that’s always been a way for me to re-center myself but journaling on its own wasn't working for me anymore. So I looked for a planner and realized none of the many existing options encompassed everything I was searching for. As an experienced print designer, I decided that maybe I needed to create my own - thus I began planning out Abide·Daily.

Instead of “Do more, be better,” Abide·Daily says, “Slow down, do what’s important, and focus on what’s meaningful.”

Making this planner a part of my routine has brought me so much freedom from fatigue and anxiety, and has really become a daily reminder of what’s important to me.
