The Gaga ball pit is a HIT! 🎉

Our students have been braving the heat just to play every recess!

A huge thank you to Home and School for organizing the fundraising, our friends and families for their generous donations, and the Ayers family for completing the installation. We are so grateful for this fun addition to our playground!

We are so grateful for the addition of a new flagpole and flag to our HES campus, generously donated by Jared Litchfield! 🇺🇸

Our flag can now fly freely and proudly without getting caught and torn in the branches of the nearby tree. A special thank you to Jared, Andy Wade, and Nathan Stringfellow for giving their time to install the new pole.

How fitting that Nathan, a former HES student, was able to help with the installation! Nathan is now a Midshipman First Class at the United States Naval Academy, where he is studying Naval Architecture with hopes of being an aviator in either the Marines or Navy. What a special full-circle moment to have one of our former students return to serve his elementary school in this way.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this wonderful addition to our campus possible. We are grateful for our HES family—past and present! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

Here are some of the clay creations from the 7th-8th grade today. We are studying about ancient cultures and their use of clay, and reading a book called a Single Shard about a potter who makes porcelain in Korea.
