Following is a list of suggested school supplies that your student will need while studying at Highland:
Calculator Required: Each student must have either the Casio fx-115ES Plus 2nd Edition OR Texas Instruments TI-30XS
Pencils and erasers
Pens
Index cards
Sticky notes
Loose-leaf paper in a binder (avoid spiral notebooks)
Composition notebook (science)
Three ring binder (1"+) (math)
Clothes for P.E.
Softball glove (recommended)
Cleats (recommended)
Folders for organization
Graph sticky notes or graph paper

Updates from the Humanities Tour: The typewriter that typed Lewis’s manuscript, Lewis’s study that’s depicted in pictures of him writing, his bed room the original sign from the pub where one “inklings” met to discuss their works, a drawing of Narnia in his common room.

They are at the “kilns” where Lewis lived while working at Oxford. It is said that he sat here looking out his window imagining Narnia

The Humanities group arrived and went straight to work on Thursday as part of class credit they will have classroom assignments and time to tour.
Thursday they were researching various parts of the life and history surrounding C.S. Lewis and the history he lived through connecting it back to his writings: Narnia as well as his poetry.
