Saccarappa Obedience Club’s 18th SCWK Trial is in the books! I hope all who participated had as wonderful a time as I had. It’s so exciting to see the enthusiasm of new and experience handlers who enjoy working with our dogs is such a fulfilling and challenging sport. What fun to gather with old friends and greet new ones! Smiles and wagging tails added joy to the day.

A heart felt thank you to all our volunteers. You worked tirelessly from early morning to late afternoon to keep the trial ready smoothly and we’re quick to pitch in wherever needed. Thanks to Deb for creating our beautiful raffle basket and to Brian for donating his time on a perfect fall Saturday.

A special thank you to Kathy Hall, my indispensable partner for your organization before the trial and keeping me updated to all the work during and after the trial.

A great big thank you to our judges; Liz Lynch, Andrea MacRitchie, Rosemary Decie and Ginny Howe. You each are so easy and enjoyable to work with! Your patience, kindness, and expertise was so appreciated by all.

Without all of you, this trial would not have been possible. I’m so grateful to everyone. I look forward to seeing you all at upcoming trials and at SOC’s 2027 April and September trials.

Enjoy playing with your furry teammates!
