Progress on the McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success nears completion. This building on Portland's campus will serve as the new hub for our students, faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and community members. The Center's design is noteworthy and stands out in the heart of the campus, reflecting the character of the maritime and forestry industries of the City of Portland and the State of Maine, respectively.

The Center's design is both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally sustainable, as it will be constructed to LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) standards. This certification ensures that the building's construction process is sustainably driven and that its day-to-day operations are energy-efficient. Throughout the building, low-carbon mass timber CLT and Glulam supports have been incorporated as alternatives to carbon-intensive steel and concrete applications. Additionally, the roof boasts a significant 33.3 KW photovoltaic solar array.
