It’s spring and we’ve been painting flowers in my classes.
This iris is a demo from my online Intermediate and Advanced Watercolor class this term. We worked on getting a variety of edges in our paintings: hard, soft and lost edges.

I’ve been having fun teaching a workshop: ‘Mix up your water media with Watercolor and Gouache’ during the last three weeks.
We started with a watercolor underpainting and added gouache on top.
