With tasty treats and talented kiddos, I'd say our recital was a success! Thank you to all the families and friends who showed up to support our fabulous students. And big thanks to Jamie Irish (baker) and Cheryl Irish (room decor) for making the reception so sweet!

Composer of the month: Xiaogang Ye (China, b. 1955). Give his music a listen with the kiddos, and ask questions: What season does this remind you of? What color seems to fit this part? How does this one make you feel? Does it remind you of any emotions you’ve had lately? And let them ask some questions back! Discussing and sharing art is one of the most valuable things we have in a complicated world.
