Alex started flying in March and fast-tracked his training in a cost-effective, efficient, and safe manner.

❓How can you get ahead before training even starts?
-Complete your ground school
-Complete your FAA written test
-Obtain your FAA medical certificate
-Apply for your student pilot certificate

❓How can you stay ahead once training begins?
-Fly 2-3 times/week
-Study and prepare before each flight lesson
-Chair fly your maneuvers
-Ask lots of questions

During this five-day camp, students will learn about all things flying: weather, navigation, career paths, maintenance, and what it takes to fly an airplane. Looking for a fun spring-break activity for the kids? Six1Fly is proud to present our Spring Aviation Adventure Camp! Our camp consists of three action-packed days learning about aviation careers, weather, navigation, and, at the end, flying in a real airplane!

Time/days: March 9-11th, 9 AM-12 PM.
Location: Portland Municipal Airport, Portland, TN
Ages 8-12

DAY 1: Aviation Basics: Intro to aviation, aerodynamics, weather, and navigation
DAY 2: Aviation Careers: Q & A with mechanics, pilots, and a tour of the airport facilities.
DAY 3: Discovery Flight Experience: *OPTIONAL. Students get to ride/fly in a real airplane with a certified flight instructor!

Pricing:
Day 1, 2, and 3: $300/student (includes flight)
Day 1 and 2: $150/student (no flight)
