🍩🚓 Donuts with the Deputy! 🚓🍩

Our kindergarteners had such a fun and memorable time learning about the important jobs our local law enforcement officers do! They got to explore the police cars, hear about what it’s like to be a police officer, and enjoy some delicious donuts together!

Thank you to the Sumner County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Portland Police Officers for spending time with our students and helping make this experience so special!👮‍♀️💜

🌿🔬 Learning Is Growing at J.W. Wiseman Elementary! 🌱
Our amazing third grade students have been digging into plant structures and taking their learning to the next level! 🌿✨

Students conducted a fun and hands-on leaf lab to explore and identify different types of leaves. They observed, compared, and discovered what makes each leaf unique—all while practicing their science skills! 🍃🧪

We love seeing our students learn by doing, asking questions, and growing their curiosity! Way to go, third grade! 👏🌱💚

Math is better on the floor!! 🤩

Our fourth graders LOVE to move around the classroom during partner and independent work times! It is one of their favorite rewards to earn when everyone is focused and attentive during their lessons. Fourth grade has been ROCKING their multiplication work, so why not celebrate?! Keep up the great work fourth grade!
