The First Two Weeks of 5th Grade!✨

Our 5th graders have been busy learning, working together, and having fun!

🧩 We kicked off the year with get-to-know-you teamwork challenges, where students completed puzzles with a twist—some couldn’t see, use their hands, or had other limitations. They had to communicate, problem-solve, and work together! 🤝

✈️ In ELA, we took grammar to the skies by flying paper airplanes to practice writing prepositional phrases!

✖️ In Math, students have been working hard and building their multiplication skills.

⭐ Our LEAD Team also had their first meeting! Students received their leadership jobs and completed an activity focused on what it means to be a leader.

It’s been a great start to 5th grade, and we can’t wait to see what this year brings! 💜

Our Kindergarteners are starting the school year by learning rules and routines, building relationships, and learning how to use new materials! They are off to a great start! 📚🍎✏️

🥣✨ Multiplication + Cheerios = FUN learning! ✨🥣
Our third graders have been working hard on multiplying, and today they got to make their learning hands-on! Using Cheerios, students formed groups to model and explore multiplication in a fun and delicious way. 🍩➗

We love seeing those math skills come to life through teamwork, creativity, and a little snack-time learning! Way to go, third grade! 💪📚❤️

Our 2nd graders had some very special visitors to help kick off the school year! Spider-Man and Mr. Shark stopped by to teach us all about classroom routines and procedures. We practiced walking silently in the hallway, sitting in our seats with hands clasped, showing great listening skills, and learning how to sit and listen carefully. What a fun way to learn being a SUPER student means being ready, respectful and responsible!! 📚✏️🚌 🦈 🕷️

🎉📚 WELCOME BACK, PANTHERS! 🎨🎶🏃‍♀️

The Related Arts team is ready to make this school year AMAZING! 💜

From Art 🎨 to Music 🎶, PE 🏃‍♀️, and Library 📚, we’re excited to learn, create, move, explore, and have LOTS of fun with our students!

🏃‍♂️In PE this week, students played Rock Paper Scissors Around the World.

🎵Students spent their first day of music class solving a mysterious secret code, and learning about classroom procedures.

📖Wiseman students enjoyed their first week back by reading clues and exploring the library through a fun scavenger hunt! It was a wonderful way for students to discover new books, learn more about their library, and build excitement for reading.

🎨 Our first week in art, students created About Me sculptures and started working on a collaborative We All Belong quilt.

Here’s to a fantastic year filled with creativity, teamwork, discovery, and Panther pride! 💜🐾
