🤎🐜🪲🐞🪰🕷🪳🤎 Bug Week turned into Lizard Week when one of the children spied a lizard trapped between a window and screen near the classroom! We were able to rescue him, and easily identified him as a Blue Belly aka Western Fence Lizard when we noticed the beautiful bright blue markings on his throat and belly. This was very unusual as they live in Eastern and Southern Oregon, but this cutie has made Portland home! After feeding him and giving him water, we released him in a sunny area on the edge of our campus 💚🦎💙🦎💙🦎💚
