Want to master the kettlebell swing?
Come train with us .jiujitsu 🔥
Strength and conditioning classes every Tuesday and Friday at 7am.
The kettlebell swing is one of the most effective movements you can learn.
It builds explosive power through the hips, the same engine behind takedowns, guard passing, and movement on the mats. It develops strength, coordination, and conditioning, without breaking your body down.
Done correctly, it’s low impact, sustainable, and something you can train for decades.
And this goes beyond just physical exercise.
This is about becoming Capable,
Strong, Coordinated, and In control of your body.
It’s about learning how to create tension when it’s needed,
and relax when it’s not.
How to generate power with precision.
How to stay steady under pressure.
That carries into your Jiu Jitsu.
Into how you lead your family.
Into how you show up in your life.
We’re not just training muscles.
We’re building discipline, focus, and
Presence.
Strength you can rely on.
If you’re ready to train with purpose, and learn it the right way, come in and train with us. 👊🏼

I want to thank my brother for sending me three of the amazing wild foods that he offers from his new company .co which focuses on providing high quality wild foods as well as sharing with people on how wild foods are more nutritionally dense than domesticated and processed foods.
We can all learn more about how to eat in a way that nourishes us better and takes better care of our environment.
I appreciate Quetzal’s passion and the heart he brings to our sacred relationship with food, with plants, to our primal nature, and to our greatest health.
You want to order high quality food, coffee, or tea from someone who truly cares?
Order from .co 💪🏼🙏🏼🔥✨
Stoked the hard work is paying off! 🔥
Damn my ears are hairy…. 😂
Note to self, don’t sit right in front of the black mat.
Jokes aside, we’ve got a great group of people coming in,
and the mats are filling up!
If you want to have hairy cauliflower ears like me,
Come in and claim your spot today .jiujitsu

It’s the end of the day.
You just got the kids to bed, and you know that if you just take your shower now, and get yourself to bed, you can finally get up and do that morning workout you’ve been saying you want to do.
But you feel like crap. There’s that gnawing emptiness again, and that desire for something more.
So you tell yourself, “Well, I’ll stay up a little longer and enjoy myself. I’ve earned it.”
So you hit your w**d pen, crack open a beer, and open up YouTube.
Next thing you know, two hours have gone by.
A couple beers, too many chips, and you already know there’s no way you’ll have the energy to get up for that morning workout.
“Dang it.”
You take your shower and get to bed way later than you wanted. Then you soften the blow with the line you always use:
“It doesn’t matter anyway.”
You wake up in the morning feeling sluggish with 17 different things on your mind.
Work, the kids, what your wife is asking of you, and underneath all of it, this quiet wish that things were different.
That you were different.
Thirty pounds lighter. More energy. More meaning. Feeling like a badass who’s actually on top of his life.
You push those thoughts aside, pour your morning coffee, and get out the door.
There’s a little bit of relief once you get in the car and start driving.
Business is going well. You’re making good money.
But that hollow, gnawing feeling is still there.
You keep telling yourself a healthy change is coming. The workouts are coming. But the evening cycle repeats, and your energy never fully catches up.
The only dopamine hit your system is getting comes from substance and screen time.
But you’re okay, right?
You have a family. A business that’s doing well.
And you’ll start working out soon….

One of the most practical questions Dr. Benjamin Hardy asks in Be Your Future Self Now is this:
Are you investing in your future self, or are you putting your future self further in debt?
Not just financially.
Mentally. Physically. Emotionally. Spiritually.
Every day we are either planting seeds or accumulating interest.
Sometimes the debt looks obvious.
Poor habits. Avoidance. Short term decisions that feel good now but cost us later.
Sometimes it looks more subtle.
Staying comfortable instead of growing.
Saying “later” to the things we know would actually move our life forward.
Choosing distraction instead of direction.
Hardy makes a simple but powerful point. Many people want the big outcome, but they are not willing to start small. They want the harvest without planting consistently.
But your future is not built in big dramatic moments.
It is built in small decisions that compound.
A workout when you didn’t feel like it.
An honest conversation instead of avoidance.
Saving instead of spending.
Learning instead of scrolling.
Taking one real step forward instead of waiting for motivation.
Small wins may look insignificant in the moment.
But small wins change identity.
And identity is what your future is built on.
I see this with clients all the time. The breakthrough rarely comes from one massive action. It comes when someone starts keeping small promises to themselves. When they begin to trust their own word again.
That is when momentum starts.
That is when confidence becomes real instead of just positive thinking.
Your future self is not asking you to be perfect.
Your future self is asking you to be consistent.
To think a little longer term.
To make a few more decisions your future self will thank you for.
To plant instead of just consume.
You don’t have to do everything today.
Just plant something.
One decision.
One action.
One small investment in the person you are becoming.
That is how strong futures are built.

Amazing night last night at the show in Seattle! 🤙🏼🔥✨
It’s not often that I stay out to close to 4am, but this was a special occasion that was worth it.
(Daylight savings also had a hand in this…)
My cousin, who I simply prefer to call my brother, and his band Whitney just got back from their Europe tour, and played their first show on their North American tour in Seattle last night.
It’s been probably 7 or 8 years since I last saw them play live, and man they ripped!
They sounded so good, and brought great energy and great vibes.
Loved the show. 🔥
And not just cuz I’m biased. 😉
They’re a great band.
I highly recommend checking them out.
They’re playing in Portland tonight so I probably should have given this shout out sooner.
Anyway, the biggest blessings of the night were getting to see Josiah and the band do their thing,
(so proud of you bro!)
And that I got to hang out with a few of my closest brothers on this Earth, and reflect on many of the great times we had together in past phases of life.
As life goes on and gets full and busy, it can become less and less frequent that you can get some of the most important people in your life together in the same place at the same time.
This was one of those times, and I’m feeling the gratitude and the blessing today.
Make the effort to spend time with the people you love.
