Our Mission
Nurture the Individual

At Little Explorers, our mission is to provide a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. It is a home away from home, where each individual will build meaningful relationships with one another. Parents and caregivers are an important part of the team, and will be sent daily updates. We value open communication as we navigate each child's needs , interests, and desires. The ultimate goal is for each child to feel loved and cared for as they explore new concepts, develop social relationships, and discover themselves and the world.

Our Roots

Little Explorers is a certified in-home preschool based around a loose Montessori approach. Children are encouraged to explore as individuals in order to develop their own interests and gain autonomy. All activities are thoughtfully designed by a certified elementary school educator to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Rather than a rigorous single curriculum, children will be enabled to learn and explore at their own pace. Each day will include opportunities for imaginative play, song and dance, outdoor exploration, and interaction with literacy and numerical content through self-guided immersion and engaging activities. Ratios are intentionally kept small in order to ensure each child receives the care they deserve.
