Monache Choir having a great time on choir tour. Students just received “ Gold” rating for MHS Chamber Choir and Concert Choir 🎶!!! That’s the rating reserved for the top 10% of high school choirs that enter Forum Festivals in California!!!

Now they are on their way to Universal Studios after all that hard work.

Last night, Mt. Whitney High School volleyball continued the practice of honoring students who exhibit sportsmanship during games through the Pursuing Victory with Honor pin tradition. After home games, Mt. Whitney presents players from each team a Pursuing Victory with Honor pin to recognize the players’ sportsmanship and character throughout the game.

At last night’s game, those athletes were Gabby Shimer from Monache High School and Aliza Huerta from Mt. Whitney High School.

Today, Monache choir participated in our first Fall Choral festival in the last three years at the Fresno State University Fall High School Choral festival. High School choirs from across the valley will perform in the next few days. Choirs are judged on a state adopted rubric by professional choral directors from the state and nation.

Congratulations to Monache Concert Choir for earning a Unanimous Superior Rating and congratulations Monache Chamber Choir for earning a Superior rating!
