The Summit Collegiate Charter Academy is a 9-12 school located on the west side of Porterville, CA.
The Music Department is under the direction of Kenny Ormonde and includes Jazz Band, Marching Band, Concert Band, Colorguard, Piano and Classical Guitar. Summit Charter Academy is a k-12 school housed on four different full-sized beautiful campuses. The Lombardi and Mathew campuses are our K - 5 schools, the Intermediate Academy is our 6-8 school, and the Collegiate Academy is our high school.

The SCHS Band & Guard is off to great start this year with their field show entitled "Thor's Hammer"! Students marched and played the first couple sets of Part One today. Success! Way to go Bears!

Our Summit Jazz Band performed for Burton School District 8th grade students from SCIA & BMS, on Friday November 15th, 2024 at The Summit Bear Camp.
Students went to various presentations and learned about all the great opportunities we offer at Summit! We had the opportunity to showcase our Music Dept. and inform students about our amazing program!

Congratulations to our SCHS Band & Guard for their amazing performances at the Porterville Veteran's Parade/Band-A-Rama! Our Band and Guard also got the opportunity to debut their field show entitled "Rise and Fall" for a packed stadium! Way to go Bears!!
