Two photos. Eleven years apart. One incredible legacy!
The first photo shows the LJE Pathway Class of 2026. The second takes us back to the inaugural graduating class in 2015. Standing in both is Mrs. Jane Kisling, whose leadership helped grow the Law, Justice, and Ethics Pathway from its very first graduates into a program that has impacted thousands of students.
As Mrs. Kisling retires, we thank her for her years of dedicated service, unwavering commitment to students, and lasting impact on the LJE Pathway. Congratulations on a remarkable career and well-earned retirement!

Hands-on learning making a real impact in our community! Porterville High School AERO students are building durable Little Libraries while gaining valuable construction and trade skills that will serve them for years to come. Our hats off to teacher Mr. Robert Young and these students for turning classroom learning into meaningful projects that give back to Porterville.
Students at Porterville High School are using their construction knowledge to build little libraries for their community.
The students have also built chicken coops, sheds, and more.

For more than a decade, PUSD Pathways has been helping students graduate with purpose, direction, and the skills needed to succeed in college, career, and life. One of the greatest signs of that impact is seeing our alumni return to invest in the next generation of students.
A special thank you to Pathway alumni Rhyane, Arnold, Joanna, and Fr. Dalton for joining this year’s Mentor Conference and sharing their stories, experiences, and advice with current Pathway students. Their words offered encouragement, perspective, and a powerful reminder of what is possible through hard work, perseverance, and opportunity.
We are proud to see our alumni continuing to make a difference both in their own communities and here in PUSD Pathways.

We’re excited to share that Karla Vargas & Mariana Andrade Delgado from the PAHS Health Science Pathway earned an Honorable Mention and received a prize of $500 in KnoPro’s The Future of Health: Tech that Saves Lives.
This challenge was an incredible opportunity where Karla and Mariana designed an app Safe Fields (Campos Seguros) that uses technology to help field workers stay healthy, get better care faster, and understand their health better. It was inspiring to think outside the box and create a solution that could make a difference.
Thank you to NAF and for creating valuable learning experiences like this for students in Porterville.
Congratulations to Karla Vargas and Mariana Andrade Delgado!
