Kekoa Von Schriltz, a sophomore psychology/criminal justice major at , has been appointed by Gov. Susana Martinez as the new student regent for the 2017-18 calendar years on the ENMU Board of Regents.
A resident of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Von Schriltz is a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, a driver for Safe Ride, President's Ambassador and a Student Senator for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
“It continually amazes me at the quality of our student regents,” said Steven Gamble, ENMU president.
“Kekoa is another in a long line of student regents who is conscientious, bright and mature beyond his years. His active involvement on campus makes him a great choice to have his finger on the pulse of issues important to students and to keep other regents and the administration informed.”
Von Schriltz replaced student regent Veronica Ayala whose term has expired.
