Howdy all,
As we expected (but had kept up hope against), due to the ongoing COVID situation, we made the unpleasant decision to cancel this year's Fungi of the Sky Islands Course at the SWRS.
We hate to do it, but it appears to be the appropriate course of action. Our class operates in close quarters (including shared rooms and a shared dining hall), and we would've had to figure out some major structural changes in order to keep up physical distancing and adequate sanitation/protection. There's simply wasn't enough time or support for us to make such changes.
THANK YOU for having been willing to take a chance on registering for this class during such a period of volatility and uncertainty, and we hope you will join us as soon as we can safely run this course again.
Our return to the junipers and oaks, the boletes and cacti, the snakes and thunderstorms will be that much sweeter and more joyous when it finally comes again.
