Although she couldn't make it to our original belt testing, she showed her determination by testing during class and successfully earned her Green Kinder Kicker Belt!

We'd love to have our amazing students join us for the Packwaukee Heritage Days Parade & Karate Demonstration! This is a great opportunity to represent our karate family, have fun, and share the excitement of martial arts with the community.

Parents are welcome too! We'd love to have you walk with us and help hand out information about our school or pass out candy along the parade route.

Let's fill the streets with Karate America spirit and show everyone what our karate family is all about. We hope to see you there!

National Night Out is only a few weeks away! We want to remind everyone that, if you are able, please bring non-perishable food items that can be donated to the Portage Food Pantry Food Drive to help combat hunger within our community.

Today, those who had the time came together to support one of our students who needed a little extra encouragement. Moments like these remind us that karate is about so much more than kicks and punches—it's about building a community that lifts each other up, celebrates successes, and stands by one another through challenges.

💙 The 30-Second Rule of Kindness 💙

Before you make a comment about someone, ask yourself one simple question:

Can they change it in 30 seconds?
✅ "Your shoe is untied."
✅ "You have something in your teeth."
✅ "Your tag is sticking out."

These are helpful comments because the person can fix them right away.
But comments about someone's body, height, weight, scars, acne, hairstyle, or clothing choices? If they can't change it in 30 seconds, it's often kinder to keep those thoughts to yourself.

Instead, choose words that build others up: 💙 "I love your smile!" 💙 "You worked so hard today!" 💙 "Great job on your kata!" 💙 "I like your new belt!" 💙 "You're such a good friend."
