At Karate America, we encourage our students to do their best both on and off the mat—and we love celebrating their successes wherever they happen!

Congratulations to one student for achieving a new personal-best running time, and to another for stepping into a new role as a cheer coach and helping earn a 2nd-place finish at a recent cheer competition!

We know our students are accomplishing amazing things in school, sports, the arts, and their communities. Families, we'd love to hear about your child's achievements outside of karate—share their wins in the comments so we can celebrate them together!

Milestone night at Portage Karate America! 🎉🥋

We are incredibly proud of our students and their hard work. Tonight, two students earned their White Belts, taking an exciting first step on their martial arts journey!

We also celebrated a student who has reached another major milestone by joining our Black Belt Team and working toward earning their Black Belt. Their dedication, perseverance, and commitment are truly inspiring.

Congratulations to all of our students on their achievements. Keep setting goals, working hard, and leveling up! 👊

Although he is new to Mini Skillz, he has already been part of our karate family and has truly grown up with us alongside his dad and two big sisters. We are so excited to officially welcome him onto the mat!

☀️🥋 Summer Uniform Season is HERE! 🥋☀️

Students can now wear their summer uniforms between Memorial Day and Labor Day! Stay cool while still looking sharp in class. 😎🔥

✅ PKA shirts (current or prior year approved shirts)
✅ Karate pants or approved PKA shorts
✅ Shirt tucked in with your karate belt

Summer uniforms can also be worn for sparring class any time of year! 👊

Please remember summer uniforms are NOT worn:
❌ During belt tests
❌ While sitting on test panels
❌ When instructing classes
❌ Shorts are not permitted for ages 12 & up

We can’t wait to see everyone rocking their summer gear in class! 💪🥋

If you haven't had the chance to pick up your summer uniform in Thursday, they will be available to pick up and pay for on Wednesday.
