We're calling in all Choir, Orchestra, and band students who aren't already marching to the beat in the Marching Band - and let's not forget the parents, we appreciate parents too!! Let's show this city how amazing our music students and parents truly are!!

This weekend was a musical weekend for our music department. To kick off the weekend 5 trophies were achieved by the middle schools on Saturday.

Band- 1st. Place rating of excellent
Choir- 1st. Place rating of superior
Orchestra- 1st place rating of excellent
FMS: Director Ms. Anasis
Band- 1st place rating of superior
Band- overall top scoring middle school band for the day.
Congratulations to all of the middle schools students and directors!!
Today The Pride of Portage Marching Band participated by playing and twirling in the Ogden Dunes Memorial Day Parade, under the dirction of Mr. Timmerman and Mr. Teykl.
Later in the day at Founders Square Memorial Day Event, Portage High School Choirs directed by Mr. Dollins, sang beautifully for many patrons and guests.
