I want to congratulate all of the graduating seniors at Portage High School. It has been amazing to watch all of you grow into tremendous young adults. To all of you graduating, it was an honor to teach you. You set the tone for a fulfilling career by allowing me to learn with all of you in my first year teaching. Good luck as you enter the next phase of your lives.

Congratulations...enjoy the journey

Have a great school year! Good luck to the first group of students I taught as they enter the senior year.

I posted the following pictures to show all of you how great our country is. Travel as much as you can and enjoy your life. Have a great summer!

Today is one of the more difficult days I will have as a professional. I am leaving a tremendous school and community to take a job in Crown Point. I have worked with tremendous students and families within the community for the last six years and I will miss all of you. I wish success for all former students and athletes that I have worked with.

On a separate note, I updated my picture to include the greatest teacher, in my opinion, to ever be in the classroom, Mrs. Hynes. She has taught at St. Laurence High School for many years and continues to amaze me every year.

After a tremendous year, today is our last day. Make sure you let your friends, teachers, and administrators how thankful you are for them. Have a great day.

Two hardworking, innovative students created Shelia 3.0 as their final project. If you watch closely, you will see the rubber-band shoot off the front. Great job boys!

Mod 3 working hard on their final PLTW projects. Some students chose to build robots and program them, while some decided to reverse engineer a toy on AutoDesk Inventor.

Being dedicated to success means sacrificing instant gratification for long term achievement.

Great night at the conference championship. We had some tremendous individual and team efforts.

I have been driving since 3:30 this morning to get to a PLTW Conference to improve my abilities as a teacher. At the end of every day make sure you can point to at least one thing you did to improve yourself. (Posted while getting gas, not driving)
