A HUGE thank you to our incredible Transportation and Food Service team for collaborating to bring FREE meals directly into our community and serve our PTS students!

From loading and organizing meals to traveling throughout the community and making sure our students were taken care of, it truly took a team effort to make this happen.

We are so grateful for everyone who stepped up, worked together, and went the extra mile to make sure our students had access to breakfast and lunch.

We’re hitting the road and heading out into the community! Our PTS Food Service team is excited to bring FREE breakfast and lunch directly to our students this week!

💥Friday, August 21st, 10:00am–11:00 a.m.
📍Locations: Saylor Elementary School, Camelot Manor, Park Place Apartments and Founders Square! Meals are available while supplies last, and PTS students must be present at the bus to receive meals.

Portage Township Schools is providing FREE breakfast and lunch to PTS students this week!

Wednesday, August 19 – Friday, August 21
⏰ 10:00–10:30 a.m.
📍 Wednesday Locations: Camelot Manor, Saylor Elementary School, Park Place Apartments (near Woodland Park) & Founder's Square.

Just look for the school bus! Any PTS student can receive breakfast and lunch for the day at no cost to families. Meals are available while supplies last, and students must be present at the bus to receive meals.

Thursday and Friday locations will be announced before distribution. Stay tuned!

👩‍🍳 While our students are enjoying their summer break, our Food Service Director is hard at work with our team in the kitchen creating delicious, scratch-made recipes for the upcoming school year! 🙌 Check out the Strawberry Yogurt Parfait topped with Granola made with Quaker oats and honey from the farm!

🥗☀️ Fresh, Flavorful, and Fueling Summer Learning! ☀️🥗
Our summer kitchen crew prepared delicious Chicken Caesar Salads for our students today, combining fresh ingredients with great nutrition to help keep them energized throughout the day!
Each salad features:
🌿 Crisp, vibrant romaine lettuce
🧀 Savory Parmesan cheese
🍗 Tender, protein-packed grilled chicken breast

✅Not only are these salads fresh and satisfying, but they're also loaded with nutritional benefits. The grilled chicken provides lean protein to support growth and muscle development, while the leafy greens offer vitamins A, C, and K, along with fiber to support overall health. Parmesan cheese adds a boost of calcium for strong bones and teeth.
