It is officially Color Run day! Here are a few reminders:

If you would like to come help it’s not too late, please arrive 15 minutes before the session starts so Mrs. Malave can run your ID.

3rd-5th grade time: 8:30-9:30

K-2nd grade time: 12:45-1:45

We have met our goal and we are excited to see how much further we get!

The money is coming in! We are officially at $1,527 with Mrs. Winsor’s class in first place.

We are still in need of cases of water and boxes of food coloring. Any donations are appreciated greatly! Let’s see if we can hit our goal of $4,500 raised!

Central is always proud of the outstanding substitutes we have come to work for us, but one of our favorites is Mrs. Gertrude. Mrs. Gertrude comes and subs for Mrs. Jones’ class once a year and does amazing writing activities with the kids about where Mrs. Jones might be. We can’t quite put our finger on it…. But there’s something oddly familiar about that Mrs. Gertrude 🤔🤔🤔

It’s been a great start to our year here at Central. We have been so happy to see all of our old friends and make new. Mrs. Winsor’s class got to know each other through their “bag biography” project. Each student brought in a paper bag with five items that were meaningful to them and shared them with their class outside. What a great way to get to know each other!

Here are a few reminders…

1. The first bell rings at 7:35 this morning

2. We will have staff waiting by the front door to take your students to their class if they are unsure where to go

3. We are implanting a new procedure for the car rider line, I have added a video to explain the process, Mrs. Lovall will be outside this afternoon to assist and will also have extra QR Codes if you need a second or if you didn’t get one Monday night

We are so excited to start this school year! We will see everyone soon!!

We are almost ready for back to school night! We can’t wait to see everyone there 😋

We are just THREE days away from our Back to School Night Bash!! How many of you are excited to come back? I know we are! 🙋🏻‍♀️

This year school breakfast and lunch will NOT be free for students, please make sure you apply for benefits for the upcoming school year to see if your kiddos qualify!

Free/Reduced Meal applications are now available at https://family.titank12.com! Families who have not received a direct certification letter but still qualify for the program must submit a new application after July 1 of each year.

REMINDER: The Free/ Reduced Meals program provides more than breakfast and lunch for our students! The program can also help children qualify for programs such as textbook assistance, college aid, and more. Email [email protected] with any questions.
