Robo Lab open this week:
M-T-W-Th, 1-4PM. Time to wrap up the move and source parts!

Lab is cancelled today. 😭 Coach’s car is disabled. Enjoy the beautiful day. See you at 1pm tomorrow.

Beginning to look like home. Thanks to the muscle of the Fab Four today, (AZ, Myron, Logan, and Cooper) the Robo room is taking shape!

Tomorrow we’re at it again from 1-4pm. Many hands make for light work. Time to rally the crews and get to the finish line!

The Robo Lab is Open for work the remainder of this week from 1-4PM daily (T,W,Th,F).

The largest Robo “rebuild” is well underway. The move to the larger square footage and accessible lab features a room make-over and update. The engine to this move is the students and families.

Lots of progress has been made and lots more work lies ahead.

“Thank you” to the Malaski, Jones, Madsen, Winsor, Lovall, Hill, Bolton, Fowble, Otera, and Benard family crews for their Herculean work.

And, the Robo kids. They’ve stepped up to big tasks as a collective.

To date the room has been cleared of heavy items, walls scrubbed and prepped for painting, workbenches assembled, tool boxes assembled, large robo arenas moved in, parts partially sorted, painting, and more. And, lots of pizza and Happy Meals have been eaten during the process.

Relocating 13 years of equipment is a quite a task. But, the Porta-Botz! look forward to an exciting future!

The old lab will now house “Sleep in Heavenly Peace” doubling their square footage and the ability to serve more Portage families.

Thank you Kevin, Katie, and Cooper Lovall for tackling the assembly of the Robo teams new tool boxes.

The move to the new lab is underway this week, and it’s time for heavy lifting and many hands.

Once completed, it’s onto the building of robots 🤖 and preparing for Speedway Signature!

City of Portage 4th of July Parade 2026 On Saturday, July 4th, the City of Portage held their 2026 4th of July Parade.

The City of Portage 4th of July Parade was an awesome celebration! It was a sea of patriotic people and amazing parade entries. Your Porta-Botz! were ecstatic to take part. And, the students and families were honored to receive the “Best Youth Entry”! It was truly a day to remember.
