IMPORTANT UPDATES for our school families -- an email with more details has been shared with you. We continue to pray for everyone affected by this week's storms and the aftermath. We will continue to communicate any updates with you.
⭐ STORM UPDATE: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ⭐
We know our Nativity families have many questions following this week’s storms. Here’s what we know as of right now:
⚡ Does Nativity have power?
No. Our campus is still without power, and unfortunately, we do not have an estimated restoration time as of now. We pray for those working to restore power across our city.
🏫 Will the Kindergarten Open House be rescheduled?
Yes. We will reschedule the Kindergarten Open House, but we do not have a new date yet. We will share that information as soon as we are able.
⭐ Is the Back-to-School Picnic still happening Sunday?
As of now, YES! However, this could change depending on power restoration and conditions on campus. We will keep families updated.
📚 Will the first day of school still be Wednesday, August 19th?
As of now, YES. We are continuing to plan for our first day of school on Wednesday, August 19th. If that changes for any reason, families will be notified as soon as a decision is made.
☎️ Is the school office open?
No. Until power is restored, our campus remains closed. Our phones are also unavailable during the outage.
❤️ A Note to our Nativity family…
We completely understand the questions, concerns, and uncertainty. This entire situation has been unfortunate and stressful for so many in our community, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate circumstances that are largely beyond our control.
So much of what happens over the next several days depends on when power can safely be restored to our campus. We promise to share updates as soon as we have reliable information to share.
Most importantly, we continue to pray for our Nativity families and for everyone in our community dealing with the aftermath of these storms.
Our theme for this school year could not feel more appropriate in light of this week’s events. Through the unexpected, the uncertainty, and whatever comes next, one thing remains certain:
🌱⭐ remains firmly ROOTED IN CHRIST! ⭐🌱

Preparing today for tomorrow’s learners ⭐
Our faculty is hard at work in our summer PD, where we are diving into our new ViewSonic interactive displays! By investing in innovative classroom technology—and the training to use it well—we’re creating even more engaging, collaborative and meaningful learning experiences for our students. We can’t wait to see these boards come to life in every classroom this year!
