Melissa Loghry's Daycare & Preschool My group home daycare is located in South Portage. I have been licensed for over 32 years! My daycare is located in my home, in south Portage.

I teach preschool and help children become ready for Kindergarten. I ensure there are activities that help develop children's cognitive, social, emotional, and fine and gross motor skills. The children are treated as part of our family, and are very close to each other!

We had our annual Camping Week this week! The kids had a ton of fun dressing up as campers, pretending to camp, hiking, and going on bear hunts 🐻 They painted campfires using jumbo marshmallows, built tents & cabins for the Fisher-Price Little People with marshmallows & toothpicks, and had several meals and snacks that were camping themed 🏕️ 🌲 🪵 🔥 🔦
