Our Parent Association meetings will now be held:

First Thursday of each month at 8:00 a.m.
Third Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m.

We hope these new meeting times make it easier for more families to join us!

We’re switching things up at KCDS. Western Wednesdays are making way for Team or Twin Tuesdays!

Every Tuesday, wear gear representing your favorite sports team, wear your KCDS gear to show your school spirit, or coordinate outfits with a friend, classmate, or group. We can’t wait to see your team pride and creative combinations!

Thank you to all the families who joined us for tonight’s Open House. It was wonderful to welcome everyone back, and even the younger siblings enjoyed themselves!

We also discovered that playing in the boxes school supplies come in is still fun when you’re in fourth grade!

We are so excited for our first day tomorrow. Sleep well, everyone—we’ll see you in the morning!

Please join us in welcoming our new Head of School, Dr. J Dianne Brederson, to the KCDS community!

Dr. Brederson brings more than 35 years of experience in independent, higher, and international education. Her work has taken her around the world and at the heart of her educational philosophy is the belief that every child should be known, supported, and inspired.
