The major storm in August may have put us behind but we have recovered and our catching up on our learning activities. We are just starting our Fall themes ... we started with apples today.

The kids had an awesome time at this sensory pop up. There was playdough, slime, rice, water play, and so much more. I can't wait to host another one with Bear and Bunny Sensory soon.

We had so much fun during Halloween week playing with all our sensory items from Bunny and Bear Sensory.

We had so much fun learning about fire safety this month. The kids learned about stop, drop, and roll. We practiced fire drills as well learned the difference between smoke alarms and fire alarms. We sang the 911 song a thousand times. The kids got to take home their fire helmets and a goody bag for being such amazing Jr fire fighters.

Starting a new school year is a big adjustment for kids, but there are ways to make the transition easier. Do these things to prepare your kid for school!

Coordination involves moving multiple body parts and both sides of the body simultaneously, balancing, and using senses for spatial awareness.

➡️ By age 3, children should have developed various coordination abilities, such as walking with a heel-toe pattern, maintaining balance, and using both hands for tasks.

If you want to strengthen your child's coordination abilities, there are some easy activities you can do every day to work on them. Some of these activities include dribbling a ball, using a hula hoop, and playing hopscotch.
