We reached 100 reviews today and still maintain a 5 star review rating!!! As we continue to grow, we are adding more classes and services, but our commitment to providing high level, professional service to the Guardian community will always be top priority.

We are building a community of people who are taking steps to enhance their knowledge and skills in the never ending self defense journey. Hopefully it will never be needed, but if it is, they will be more prepared. Whether you need the tools for self defense, or training on how to use them, Guardian Training Academy is here for you.

BIG NEWS!!! We have officially moved into our new location!!! 8135 Cox's Drive Suit #207 Portage, MI 49002

We had our first CPL classes and a self defense class over this last week at our new location. It was great working with these groups and welcoming them into the Guardian community!

With this next step toward our goals, we will continue to provide the same high quality and professional training we have been, but we will be expanding as well.

For those who have the summer off, are retired, work weekends, make your own schedule, or would rather take a day off work to save your weekend, we are now offering week day CPL classes.

We are looking to offer our self defense class once a month, and are working on offering first aid/cpr/aed training as well.

With the new location we will also be able to do transfers and special orders for those wanting to get the tools needed for self defense.

Thank you to all you Guardians who have trusted us with your training already and we look forward to working with those in the future who are ready to join.

Had the opportunity to work with this amazing group during our self-defense class on Tuesday. We worked on situational awareness, practical skills and built confidence in personal safety.

This is going to be an annual event for them and can be for you too.

Self-defense class tomorrow! Limited space

We're Hosting A Self Defense Class!! And You're Invited 🙌

GTA: Guardian Training Academy is a locally operated business serving the Southwest Michigan area and specializes in CPL and firearm training as well as self defense training.

"We feel everyone should be able to protect themselves and their loved ones."

What You'll Get:
In this class we start by teaching the basics of situational awareness. Showing you things to watch for and how to develop the skill of being aware.

We then go over some basic self defense techniques to defend yourself against some of the most common things that happen in an altercation. We start standing up and work our way to the ground.

This could be a fun mother/ daughter date night. Or bring your bestie!

COST: $25 per person
TIME: Tuesday. June 23rd. 6-9pm
WHAT TO WEAR: Gym clothes (preferably long sleeves/pants)

We had a self defense workshop for a couple groups a little while back and another CPL class. Our new website is live where you can get all the gear you need! If you're a Guardian, and have taken the CPL, class check your email!
