An update from our Formula One Race Team:

Out of a competitive field of 35 teams, our students secured an impressive 5th and 8th place finish!

Our students were incredibly fast, clocking a best track time of 40.11 seconds—placing them just one second behind the first-place finishers.

The competition wasn't without its challenges. On the second day of racing, the track was quite cold, which made it a bit slippery for our race tires. Additionally, the team had to handle some high-pressure mechanical situations:

Electrical Issues: One car experienced electrical trouble, but the students diagnosed and fixed it quickly.

Broken Chain: Another car snapped a chain during the race. Our students took immediate action and had it replaced in under an hour, which kept us in the running.

I am so proud of how they handled these setbacks with such poise and teamwork. Beyond the rankings, they had a blast racing against other schools and seeing their hard work pay off on the track.
