Fun updates around the building!

A brand-new Gaga Pit is now on our front playground, thanks to the Sepanic family and John’s Eagle Scout project! We know this is going to be a favorite spot for our students.

A new ramp leading to our Early Childhood playground was also added, thanks to Jordan Dimmer and Advanced Restoration. We’re so grateful for the work that helps make our spaces more accessible for everyone.

The greenhouse is thriving and blossoming! Our garden is growing beautifully thanks to our students, staff, and summer garden helpers.

And finally, our summer project is complete! The ceiling tiles painted by our amazing families are now hanging throughout the hallways, adding so much color, creativity, and personality to our school.

So many people have helped make our building even better—and we are incredibly grateful for a community that continues to show up, pitch in, and make a difference.

Our halls are full again with happy faces, new friendships, familiar smiles, and so much excitement for the year ahead. Today was all about getting to know our classmates, making new friends, meeting our teachers, and settling into our classrooms. We were especially grateful to have Father Kirk join us to bless each classroom as we begin a new school year together.

This year, our theme is simple but powerful: GO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Big or small, every kind word, helping hand, brave choice, and thoughtful action can make a difference. We can’t wait to see the difference our students make in their classrooms, our school, and our community this year.

Today, we ask You to be with every student as they begin a new school year. Be especially close to those who may feel nervous, worried, or unsure. Help them feel welcomed, included, and reminded that they are never alone.
Give our new students courage to try new things, strength to make new friends, and confidence to know that they belong here. Bless our teachers and staff with patience, kindness, and joyful hearts as they welcome each child.
Help us all to look for someone who needs a friend, lend a helping hand, and make our school a place where everyone feels loved.
Guide us throughout this year as we Go Make a Difference in the lives of others.

SJ23 kicked off the new year with a little extra school spirit—and we were happy to bring the POP.

Custom balloon garland + glowing SJ23 LED letters turned their back-to-school event into a celebration and gave everyone a pretty great reason to stop for a photo.

The halls are ready. The classrooms are ready. Our teachers are READY… and now we’re just waiting for YOU!

After a summer full of adventures, sunshine, camps, vacations, late nights and maybe a little too much screen time, it’s finally time to get BACK TOGETHER!

We can’t wait to see our students walk through those doors, reconnect with friends, meet their teachers, make new memories and fill our school with the energy and joy that only our students can bring.

What a wonderful way to start the day. Vases printed over the summer with our 3D printer, filled with beautiful flowers from his garden. Such a thoughtful gift and the perfect reminder of the creativity, kindness, wonderful people, and little moments that make this place so special. As we begin a new school year, we are feeling especially grateful and excited for all that is ahead. New beginnings, new memories, and another year of growing, learning, and doing it all together. We can’t wait!

We’re excited to announce that we are renewing our Milwaukee County Zoo membership for another year! This means our families will once again have the opportunity to enjoy a day at the Zoo together. We have TWO Zoo Passes available to reserve through the School Office. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be checked out for up to two days at a time.

• 5 Zoo admission tickets + parking
• 10% off at the Gift Shop
• Discounts on Expeditions
• Discounts on the Sky Adventure Ropes Course
